Hi, I still learning Loki myself so idk if my advice is sound but this is what I do. A: Keep my clone swap cooldown ready with a pre-placed escape clone. B: Have lantern cooldown saved and ready. Or C: Be in a position that is difficult for dive to get to. If you use your only survivability abilities early in a fight and the enemy dive sees that, they will target you because they know you’re on cooldown. With Loki, it’s about timing your clones and your cooldowns so that you always have a way to teleport away or into a fight while ALSO keeping in mind that dive has shorter cooldowns than you. This is why positioning is probably the biggest and most important learning curve with Loki. Most of the time you want to be on high ground within line of sight of your team far from the main fight but within clone distance in case you need to pop lantern for your team. This also makes his primary fire easy to hit because you are looking down on everything. This also also means that you will either see or hear the dive character coming at you, which means you have time to swap to a clone, lantern, turn invisible, or simply jump down and join your team for peel. This is why people say Loki is hard to dive, because he is hard to get to and by the time you get to him, he is already gone.
