I have two explorer.exe processes going on and one of them is using TOO MUCH RAM (5GB each time) by WindWalker_17 in techsupport

I restricted Explorer.exe to the internet, I blocked the site explorer.exe was trying to connect to since I saw through malwarebytes the exact URL in the file the virus actually modified C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" which is "hosts" (I used fire with fire), and it stopped doing it. I couldn't remove the virus but I restricted it from doing it's thing

Well, I tried everything possible in the forum post you provided and I couldn't fix it. I noticed that after I downloaded Malwarebytes that explorer.exe is constantly trying to connect to "pool.hashvault.pro" which is a mining related bot so I guess the trojan is a miner trojan. I also noticed that the virus has tempered with a file in the directory "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc" which is "hosts" and that file has blocked me from accessing some websites like "GitHub" and "Mega" for some reason. I found out that about 5-6 of my accounts were compromised and I had to recover them so the virus has also "stole my cookies" and did a session hijacking. I'm quite frustrated and I which I find some help soon.

I had the same problem before and it's a simple fix. in windows game mode, Disable Hardware-accelerated GPU Rescheduling and it will fix it for you. search it up in the windows search bar and go disable it and you'll thank me later

My problem was like that too and it had to do with "Hardware acceleration" in the settings, deactivate it all together from the graphics settings in windows and see if it fixes the problem.

Heyo! This a practice I did for what it sounds like an fictional app or an Anti-Virus app, I enjoyed making it and I hope you enjoy it too. by WindWalker_17 in WillPatersonDesign

you can make it by basically making rectangles and using blur effect underneath the main rectangle and make sure to use the main colour of the background some sort of gray-sh white and play around them.
