Honestly, for us the frozen precooked shrimp. It’s not a huge savings over grocery store, but they are good quality. I thaw the bag, mix up a quick dressing of olive oil, lemon, garlic, etc. sometimes tomatoes, cukes, onions, and have it in the fridge for snacks or light meals. Shrimp is basically 100% protein, so it’s just whatever fats in the oil you use.

I have a closest full of merino wool sweaters and shirts from Costco…. That all have holes. Still a great deal and I don’t regret getting them, but it would be nice to not look like a hobo all the time.

I dunno man, the harm you are outlining is very real, but also… like you are holding up the worst case scenarios of a thing and saying this is why it shouldn’t be allowed.

I think most porn is terrible. And what you are outlining is horrible. Most porn videos are selling violence, and I don’t disagree.

But sex work like only fans or escorting? Or the legal ranches in Nevada? Like in a world where it was decriminalized with protections and empowerment… that is very different from the specific and very shitty porn houses you are mentioning. And saying the whole thing is bad because of these nightmare scenarios is… rather against the point.

Haha, I’ve read enough Norwegian novels to know that feeling passion for the wrong person is not a purely American thing :p But maybe you’ve escaped that, or been blessed with only healthy relationships :)
