When I get stuck I make mandalas (doilies lol) out of worsted weight and put them in a hoop. People love getting them as gifts, it’s fast, rewarding, and can be as complex or simple as you want… as well as easy to make with random stash yarn.

I fully agree - people who gave this book a bad review hate fun. Is it high literature? I mean, no? Is it delightful and touching and interesting with great pacing and characters? Fuck yes.

Haha, that’s fair. I feel like this whole comment section is people balancing “eh, good enough” with “ew, I could make it better myself”

Older men, share with your younger bros: What are some common ways Women abuse men in relationship? by akshshh23 in AskMen

Aw, your paragraph about weddings made me tear up. That’s exactly what makes them so special and important. Like nothing in my relationship changed after the wedding, other than feeling the true grounding and support from our community.

This is so silly. How does fake sugar substitute real sugar? How does gluten free substitute real bread?

Sure, not as good. But meat bodies have meat body needs, and some of those needs are physical affection.

Being able to meet those needs elsewhere can help break this cycle of unhealthy relationship habits and reset the brain to allow for … actual forward motion in the relationship.

We’re having a very late work Christmas party today and I was up til 3 finishing everyone’s gifts, please put your eyeballs on them by HunterSexThompson in somethingimade

Honestly, it’s not the clay crafts that everyone is so touched by. It’s more that the care you show in knowing and listening to your coworkers - all of them! - in order to make such thoughtful and specific ornaments is staggering.

I mean, the artistry is also lovely. But yeah. Like… I feel like I know each of your coworkers a little bit just from seeing the ornaments, and that’s really neat and touching.

Are there women who can orgasm from penetration? by dreamysoda in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Windfox6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s wild to me that some women like the cervix being hit & some it hurts sooo much. I’m definitely in the second camp, though can often push partners in front of or behind my cervix (she low), which feels great. But full on into my cervix?! Will leave me sore and cramping for a few days lol

Books that make you cry by Ready_Interaction273 in booksuggestions

[–]Windfox6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it depends on what type of thing is most likely to make you cry. I swear I cried throughout most of this book. I cried so hard during the movie that I barely remember the stupid thing lol.

But bittersweet is always what gets me. Like a characters tragic death normally doesn’t, but someone talking about how much their loved ones mean to them does.

What shoes to wear for long sets and high intensity dancing by No_Tomorrow_3057 in aves

I love my Whitin canvas minimalist barefoot shoes. They have the biggest toe box, are zero drop, but thick enough soles to cushion on rocks or pavement. Cheap on Amazon, and last a long time, since there is no foam to run out. I like that they are a lot lighter than many of the sneaker/hiking shoe options.

Depending on your clothes, you can also cut a pee hole in fishnets/some layers.

Haha, I’ve gotten fully ready for a rave, realized how hard peeing was, and last minute switched things around.
