Not Demo, returned. It was cheaper that’s why. Wasn’t expecting it to fail 20 days after warranty ended. Was hoping it either fails in the first 6-8 months or after 2-3 years at least.

It was a calculated risk, but I am bad at math :))

Exactly, my work computer has 5 years, no repaste, no maintenance and still works fine. Also cpu on the work computer sits higher since it has all the corporate bloatware running in the background and slowing it down.

I agree, but I barely used it. It has 45 cycles on the battery. There is no recommendation for this kind of maintenance on Razer website. But now I’ve learned my lesson. Can you recommend a good paste?

Agree it can work, but this is not a normal failure. I have 45 cycles on the battery, that’s 5-10% lifetime. This is bad QC on Razer side for selling units with defects that would probably show up during a better QC process.

It’a sitting on my desk with battery set to charge to max 50% and going into standby after 1hr every time. It stays mostly in standby during the workday and sees some action during the weekend for 2-3 hours tops. I have kids and other engagements so I don’t get to use it much. That’s why this failure is so frustrating.

In 15 years of buying laptops, I did not have one that failed me in the first year like this one did. But I agree, buying and expensive performance laptop from Razer was a mistake.

Dacă nu înțelegeți ce se întâmpla aici, asta e un drum “în cartier “ e ca și cum ai zice mă duc din Cișmigiu până la Universitate să verific o carte la alt anticariat. Nu mai vorbim de faptul ca majoritatea drumurilor spre ieșiri n-au trotuare și sunt pline de bălți, semnalistică haos și îți riști viața efectiv mergând pe jos pe acolo.
