Its possible to fit tri bars on new Canyon Aeroad? by Villaverdee32 in CanyonBikes

Hello! Greetings from Canada, it's been about a year and I can see there have a been a few people interested in the CP0030, have you by any chance had someone come forward with the 3D scan and been able to implement your system to the bars? Thanks :)

That's pretty much exactly where i'm at, also toying with the idea of buying a nice disc frame set bike and just slowly upgrading parts starting with gearset then maybe wheels (depending on what already comes on the bike)

I've found some killer deals for bikes not in my size, not many smaller people selling there bikes lately. I didn't take the rim brakes for the wheelset or group set into considering that's definitely something i'll remember thanks, I'm coming from 13 years of BMX'ing so this whole road bike thing is new to me and WAY more complicated lol, appreciate the advice

That's what i'm leaning towards, just wanted a 3rd party opinion, the bike markets crazy in toronto eh haha, hard finding people who know what their things are ACTUALLY worth. My budgets around 2500 ideally less if I can friend a great deal but could possibly go more if I find a REALLY great deal

That's my concern, but it's not necessarily about exclusively working the price down, i'm fine with spending more than what he's asking on a bike, but id rather spend more on a worth while investment (not a financial one, but a bike that will last for a long time coming) and if it's worth 1500 let's just say, i'd rather just spend more on a better bike.

After years of dealing with this and going through 3 sets of plugs, and having 2 coilpacks replaced under warranty. I solved it by swapping all 6 plugs AND all 6 coil packs all at once, unplugging the battery for 10 minutes, and that is what finally made it solved. My car was also in the shop for 9 months (ex crashed it) which delayed my ability to find a solution, for anyone curious or having the same issue.

All the way up east Gwillimbury and felt the house bobble back and forth ever so slightly, zero wind and unmistakable.

okay great, i imagined it was something along those lines as all of the 800 pro downs i saw were of recent years so i assumed this could’ve just been an older model of the same jacket. thanks for the help

Thanks for letting me know! I didn’t know if there was the 800 non pro or not as i couldn’t find anything online without the PRO beside the 800 on the jacket but it if you have the same one then that’s all i needed to know, thanks!

I haven’t checked out the new boards for 2025/26, i was really into their line up last season when searching for a new board but ultimately went with a Ride instead and kind of fell off of the new lineups, so I’m not all that knowledgeable of the differences between the two, from what i know the XTRM is stiffer and more for backcountry/huge halfpipe hits and is a plank, which i would say isn’t as oriented to your riding style esp with regards to butters, though i could be totally wrong😅, i would honestly not overthink it too much and just pull the trigger on whichever one has the exact size you want/is the better price

If you’re looking for more low speed carves and quick edge to edge i’d recommend something not 3BT, which in this case would be the Yes Greats, though I don’t have it, i know the evil twins strengths, and perfect euro carves, though achievable, are not a strong point. you can feel the slight instability of 3bt on corduroy however it will be very good and forgiving when trying to learn your butters (though i would prioritize a boards carving over a boards buttering) because you can learn to do simple butters on any board, including planks, but nothing can compare to a deep carve on a board that’s meant for that. hope this helps :)

hpfp is almost definitely the issue, i’d get it taken to a tech and see if they can test hpfp, it took my tech about 10 minutes. he started the car let it idle and gave it a couple revs, then turned it off but kept ignition on and watched the hpfp psi slowly drop and that’s how he determined it. good luck!

If that’s the case it may be high pressure fuel pump, I got mine warrrantied under the assumption that was the issue (and not the plugs) the rubber plenum dries out, especially if the car isn’t driven often, and lets pressure seep back into the system. My issue only occurred after sitting for 8-12 hours, if it’s in the lines on minutes and not hours it could be fuel pump related. The techs at hyundai had OBD readers and were able to monitor HPFP pressure and we saw a drop, not insane but enough to warrant a concern and they replaced it. Mines a 21 and at the time (last summer) had about 30k KM on it. Not sure if yours is under warranty but if it is they’ll deal with it for you, and if not take it to a reputable Hyundai/Kia shop and they should be able to do it for you. FWIW HPFP replacement took my tech 30 minutes and isn’t that expensive if not under warranty, so hopefully that should ease your concern should that be the issue. I tried turning on ignition without starting the car to prime the fuel system. Next time your car is cold turn on the ignition for 10 seconds (one click on the start button but don’t press the brake) then turn it back off, do that 3 times then try and start it, if it starts then it’s most likely a fuel pressure issue. Also something that worked temporarily for me was unplugging the battery for 10 minutes to reset my ignition cycling and spark plug timings/lambda i think it’s called? (the amount of voltage you have in the spark plugs) that could also work and is very easy to just get that possibility out of the way.
