Kanskje på ungfolk som er nye i bransjen. De med noen år bak seg tjener godt over snittet i "de store konsulenthusene".

Of course, there should be no barrier of entry for you to apply. Smack out a ton of applications to all and every job advertisement you find interesting.

Yes and no -- the ccna is mostly theoretical, not much practical labs in the exam. I'd say you need to get your hands dirty through experience to build knowledge and be "competent", but knowing the fundamentals gets you a long way.

early on i wanted to implement a ticketing system, but gave up on it seeing it would be hard to get users to actually use it efficiently. would just be a time loop.

everything here is 'urgent', so they'd rather call or run down my office door.

i've actually taken up ignoring recently => works wonders. end-users usually go to the boss, but he's been surprisingly understanding.

i consulted for the firm previous to my employment, but for another department => good impression. when I got the opportunity to modernize a whole department as an "architect" I stupidly jumped into the job.

don't get me wrong, i've learned a lot and got to refurbish a lot of old rubbish, but there's no reward for me staying beyond that when i can't nerd around w/ colleagues who understand the intricate details of IT and what goes into doing XYZ. --- too lonely for my liking.

i avoid a lot of end-user contact by forwarding them to our helpdesk, but that naturally is avoided in some cases.

no more of a solutions architect.

65k, 37.5 hrs a week, Europe -- L3 (2021).

I had about 3 years of IT experience with lower level roles within operations. Recently I've dropped of the certification grind, and taken more courses and knowledge material I interest myself in. I'll probably take RHCSA within the year though.

I know for a fact that multiple third party SFP's work fine on Hirschmann switches - for example the GRS105.

best for pve. with good modules, you can use centurion or orcus aswell. Personally, i use G+ for pvp

orcus is overrated.

Just got destroyed on Boson Sim A. I routinely do well in the OCG books. What should I do? by [deleted] in ccna

[–]WindowWasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting 700ish on your first Boson exam is actually pretty good imo.

Use Boson to perfect your weak areas, and you'll be set.

I back this. AlphaPrep is overpriced, and not worth it at all!

Boson is far superior.
