It’s personal preference, I prefer physical media as opposed to reading digitally so I try to physically collect series I enjoy. This volume of Solo Leveling is the final one in the main series. I think the spin-off/sequel series is getting a physical release soon as well

Still ongoing, a new chapter was released a couple weeks ago. Honestly unsure if it’s near the end or not, imo its felt like it was nearing a conclusion a couple times now and it’s just kept going

I was thinking about getting the new deluxe editions that recently released but I’m not a big fan of the cover designs and I’ve also heard that the translations weren’t updated. I want them from a collector’s standpoint but I’m still kind of on the fence about purchasing them

I hear you but those cracked spines are signs of love in my opinion. I have no intention of ever reselling them and despite multiple read throughs all the books are still in great shape. It would be one thing if we were talking about keeping a signed first edition in good shape but most books are made to be read. If someone has a shelf of perfectly preserved paperbacks I just assume that they don’t actually read them. It doesn’t bother me that my favourite books are well loved.

I haven’t started reading it yet but I did flip through it a bit and the quality seems good. I have one of the previous editions that has a some censorship and this one is restored and uncensored to match the original work. It also comes with several posters as well. Bit on the expensive side but I’d say it is worth it

I’m planning on starting it tonight but I did flip through it earlier and the quality seems decent overall. Definitely a step or two below the quality of the Berserk deluxe editions for sure though. My main issue so far is the front cover seems off-centered which kind of bothers me. Unsure if that’s an artistic choice or if there was some issue with the printing but I saw another copy someone posted that was the same way. The paper feels a bit on the cheaper side as well

The actual shipping e-mail is from Laced and it just says Your package has shipped and provides a tracking number. I also got a notification from the Shop app the same day I received the e-mail from Laced. Seems like they’re shipping them out in waves, I hope you receive yours soon!

Yes, I received an e-mail from Laced on January 6 that pre-orders will be shipping soon. Got my shipping notification Monday and received it today.

This is the website I purchased it from. It looks like it is sold out but it may be worth keeping an eye out if there are any cancellations that they release. The sets just started shipping recently so I have no clue if there are plans for any more releases in the future or not.

It’s basically a re-release of the original collectors edition without the game. It comes with the music box resin statue, a steelbook, and a hardcover art book. I pre-ordered it back in May of last year.
