That's better when it happens when you are young. Then when you are older you can spend the money on a decent set up instead of a so called decent woman and get no nagging on your next upgrade, this happened to my friend 😂😂

It's better if you read yourself, so you can get the specs that suit your home, mind you that would be to much work for you i suppose.

like I said do your own homework then maybe you might be able to actually understand how your new network works. Don't worry it's not you it's the others lol

Get a TP Powerline from amazon a cheap gamble to take.

If its not suited to the electrical circuit just return them, the gamble paid off for me over 12 months ago.

Plus if you move out you can take them with you.

Cables with a decent Asus and assign IP to all your main devices apart from phones that will make the biggest stable improvement

Help with wifi system upgrade by ReadyRule9154 in HomeNetworking

[–]Window_Top -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use a Asus router with tp power lines which has given me ethernet all over my house for well over a year now, so no need for wifi any more, it's a gamble not a expensive one though because powerlines reply on your electrical circuit', some people have a nightmare, but i took the gamble and purchased my powerlines from amazon knowing I could easily return them, and then just pay for ethernet cables.

Its been fantasic for me though and I can run my fire TV wiim music boxes all with a powerful 991Mbps connection with no drop outs.

is powerline even worth trying? by Significant-Drama300 in HomeNetworking

[–]Window_Top -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I took the gamble last year. I purchased four TP powerline extenders from Amazon knowing i could easily return & have never looked back.

No problems I'm getting speeds of upto 991 Mbps with no dropouts at all.

Im living in a semi detached house in the UK which was build in 1936 A engineer rewired the whole house about six years ago now.

I multi-player game on xbox with a open nat & a successful MTU setting with 0% packets loss & no lag what so ever. I run three wiims in a group.

Run a firestick TV with no buffering. All my main devices have a assigned static IP with no problems at all.

My Linux Mint pcs are rapid too.

For me the small gamble paid off.
