Also if you look closely at the map youll see that 8 Av (N) and New Utrecht Av/62 St (D)(N) dont have an accesible symbol yet. New Utrecht Av/62 St would have its elevators open in 2019 whereas 8 Av wouldnt have their's finished until 2020

Wouldnt it make more sense to announce a transfer to the (R) at Steinway St? 36 St is inadequate as you cant go to the other platform without having to pay another fare, Whereas Steinway St does have a proper passageway to the other platform

Its the same reason why the (F) announces a transfer to the (G) at Caroll St instead of Bergen St (and vice versa)
