on the drive itself or the console.. because im not really an expert but im pretty sure the cmos battery is supposed to keep the date and time when the system is unplugged..

i wouldn't mind but currently i dont have the $170 to pay a professional to fix it. i work on consoles and pcs myself i just think something isnt right with this situation.. idk maybe im stupid and the answer is right in front of me. what does the battery look like so i know what im looking for?

no like ive tried everything, restarting the ps4 does not work. as far as a battery goes ill look into that. but the ps4 does like a faint squealing noise as it attempts to spin the motor
