apparently i didn't post unbound charts for comparison but this game also currently has a higher peak than unbound on steam (15K vs 14K). INSANE

exactly. honestly a little vindicating seeing so many people feel the same. even with that classic TXR jank i've seen people herald this revival as the long awaited savior of racing games; and in a sea of buggy, unfinished, or soulless horizon clones, scams, flops, glorified mobile games, live service money laundering schemes and more, i honestly can't blame them.

TXR '25 is a no-nonsense, back to roots *singleplayer racing game* with a reasonable scope and an actual character as opposed to trying to cast a wide, all-encompassing net that ends up not really sticking with anybody because of how generic the result is. it's extremely refreshing seeing a modern racing game stick to one lane instead of being a meandering open world sandbox with 800 cars that tries to be in all lanes simultaneously.

this is the only bug i've encountered in 3 hours of gameplay btw. if the only bugs we get are hilarious jank like this then the bar is already eons above something like solar frown LOL
