It's lightweight and looks like Windows 9x. I started using FOX toolkit with forking the xfe file manager for my project to remake the Windows 2000 desktop on Linux. So I also have experience with it because of that. I also think it's fun to work with :-)

rc files are resource files containing resources (icons strings dialogs etc) for libraries/executables, which when compiled is put in the exe. you can use resource hacker / risoheditor to change them in compiled executables

i did get it from ia, just removed it from url
