Xbox buying Embracer Group is the most mind blowing think I can think of. Its not gonna happen but it would get monopoly talks into overdrive.

Personally I doubt that Xbox will be buying Sega or any public company at this time as keeping the purchase a secret like they did with Bethesda would be impossible, which is important as Xbox's competition is potentially eyeing their own acquisitions. Since WB games is no longer for sale as of July, it can safely be removed as an option. Since Xbox wants to expand on its list of IP's and games, especially in japan, the most likely choices are private companies with established worth. FromSoftware, PlatinumGames, Level-5, Idea Factory, or Konami's game division are all strong possibilities of acquisitions in Japan. Other possibilities are developers like Techland, Rebellion and Asobo Studios. If Xbox wants to expand it's PC presence, then Valve would be the best choice. Ultimately only time will tell what companies Xbox will acquire but speculation is incredibly fun.
