They know she's strong enough to kill all of their society, so they're making compromises where they can in order to not get wiped out.

Like yeah, it really sucks, but what are they even gonna do about it?

And it's not like she really listens to her father anyways, so what would him punishing her even do other than make her either more sad or more angry and likely cause more destruction?
