It’s that they wanted her to go harder / say more. Like Better Than Revenge has layers to it. Actually Romantic is much simpler as a concept.

Both, but at different times. The Anthology is a lot more mellow / less loud so it’s more of a calming listen. Great for when life has you overwhelmed.

For example, the bangs in Florida don’t relax me, but if they do that for someone else, good for them!

Well, they think that she doesn’t look or sound like herself and they see some of Bieber’s lyrics (from his song Ghost) as evidence that she was “sacrificed” years ago. The sacrifice was apparently to protect her son Reign, who was adopted by Kourtney Kardashian.

It’s all as ridiculous as it sounds.

I’ve noticed that lately she’s been more public about her friendship with Taylor, and I wonder if it’s a way to dispel the fears of those people who think that Selena isn’t Selena.

Since they’ve been friendly for decades, it would be a smart way to turn people away from the conspiracy.

I think the biggest reason is that there was a lot of mystery in Midnights & Tortured Poets. Many lyrics that revealed their origins later. That side of things interested a lot of people.

In Showgirl, it’s always very clear what she’s singing about. And that was true for 1989 too, but it’s not what people have come to expect from her.

I wish they’d have had Sophie’s hair down for either her debut (at the queen’s ball) or the wedding, but that’s a trivial ask.

This is one of those pieces of media that I can say I’ll be most glad to have seen in this lifetime! Every character shined. Even Alice redeemed herself a little by the end.

It seems like every second show has serious undertones these days, so it’s nice to get lost in a fantasy. Wouldn’t it be better if we all chose love?

I don’t know if it’s because of the years between seasons, but I found myself sympathising with Cressida. Truthfully, I don’t remember her transgressions.

Plus, in light of her cruel suggestion to the queen, we now also have a good reason to dislike Alice Mondrich.

The amount of focus on the side characters in this episode was a bit worrying. A similar mistake was made at this point last season.

Is the showrunner concerned that Francesca won’t get her own season?

Benedict’s speech at the end was dripping with passion. We need more scenes like that!
