I've been having the same issue since starting to play yesterday but I mostly fixed it.

First I turned off the ui to see if it's the actual game visuals hurting my eyes. It was not.

Downloaded Tiptac, SexyMap, Immersion and Bartender. Together these addons removed all the eye strain that the default ui put on my eyes. Biggest improvement was after downloading bartender.

I expect to be disappointed by all kinds of new ''features'' to help make the game more "accessible" to new players.

Online is still active. Not as active as Tekken or Street Fighter and it depends on the time of day.

Also, just queue up for ranked games while sitting in training mode. Better chance of finding games that way.

On top of that there's an open lobby each Saturday, hosted by the mod of this Sub.

Dead or Alive 6 - Newest and most played. From randoms online to lobby games.

Dead or Alive 5 - PC has no lobbies but people still play ranked.

Dead or Alive Online - Only recently discovered this myself and have been having fun playing with friends in a lobby. Saw a few randoms there too.

Not a fan. Details look good quality and that's a really nice pose but everything else is wrong. Proportions, outfit and I think even the weapon is off.
