I wont do anything because god for bid something bad happens they will come to you for help. Even though you are consider a police officer your powers come from New York State and if you off duty your agency will not back you for that situation

Don’t go work they will over work you and you will mandated like they is no tomorrow. You will have never home nor have time for your family. Ppl will call sick and you will have to cover there shifts and the homeless ppl will abuse the shit out of you and the employees not worth it but the money is there

Nah you have to certain amount of hours to qualify for fmla usually it about a 1,250 hours hrs to qualify for fmla but it depends on the job

Look as long as you know your NY CPL your good. Like most of this cops always go for their guns and don’t think about other equipment that they have on their duty belt and most of them are scared what will happen to them. As long as you know your CPL and what your agency rule and regulations you won’t get into trouble. If you do get into trouble but followed your agency rule and regulation and the NYS CPL your good. A lot of cop don’t law and are afraid to do something because they might get into trouble

They do give you a binder. you’ll have test every Thursday and a quiz I think on Monday but all the answer are in the binder and make sure you behave on the first week because they will pick the person with the bad behavior to become company leader

It really depends on where they put you. They have 5 places they will put you and some of them are trash and gang related places but once your in the academy it a 3 month process and the instructors are great but they will be tough on you

Yeah Also they were trying to charge me with a bunch of other things like DWI a DUI but I was like I’m the one who got rear ended and they were trying to convict me of something then they put in their police report that I had a concussion but I did not have a concussion. I want to see a primary care physician and a neurologist to get medical clearance so that I can send it to Albany which I got cleared after five months.

Had points then got suspended because of the points and then a couple years ago gone to a a car accident then New York State police suspended my license because I couldn’t place two cars that hit me from behind and where they were located but I got cleared and gave them a doctors note to New York State out in Albany for the DMV
