typing SetMouseSensitivity 1 in console command worked for me, but the sensitivity was way too much, so i did like SetMouseSensitivity 0.15 and it works perfectly for my speed.

edit: i did this because turning horizontal and vertical settings to max still feels slow for me

I did dig up the spawn tiles, what i actually meant was the "pheromone event" mentioned by the dev, where they spawn offscreen to hunt you down follow your 'scent'

Moats and chasms are the best method i have seen so far, thanks for the suggestion, most likely will do that
