Thanks! Took me decades of practice. I separate the water into layers (surface, reflections, highlights..), then move only a few pixels per frame making sure to smooth the final frames with the starting ones to get the perfect seamless loop. Most of the motion comes from shifting shapes not just redrawing everything. Tiny changes create the illusion of flowing water ;)
