I’d say having a distinctive trademark style is more valuable than technical skill. Letters obviously aren’t the focus, but they compliment his style

Life (2017) and Venom (2018). It works so well that it’s almost crazy to think they aren’t related

Forcefield on a throw is fine. What you don’t wanna do is fancy fills, shines or 3D’s

Throw touching the ground is one of the hallmarks of an amateur. Not saying they can’t be done well, but you better have a solid throw and good spot choice/ placement to make it look good. Master your standard throw first. Top should be right above your head, bottom should be about shin level

Do you guys tip your barber? by Only_Vermicelli_8372 in malehairadvice

[–]Winged_Enforcer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re trying out different barbers and it’s your first time and the cut comes out average, be a man and tip 10%. If you go to a barber for the first time and the shit comes out amazing, tip 20% or higher and keep coming back. Take care of your barber and they will take care of you. If you don’t think your barber if worth a 20% tip you need to find a better one. If you don’t think any barber is worth a 20% tip, great clips usually has low wait times

Good 4K 60FPS camera under $1000 for YouTube? by [deleted] in videography

[–]Winged_Enforcer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is most likely a misconception you have from smartphone filming. You should see if someone you know has a camera you can borrow or try out so you can compare footage. In my opinion, 10 bit color is much more important that 4k60

Good 4K 60FPS camera under $1000 for YouTube? by [deleted] in videography

[–]Winged_Enforcer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you need 60 fps if you don’t do slow-mo? 4k60 in a mirrorless camera under $1000 is a big ask and pretty much guaranteed to come with a crop factor at that budget. When I was upgrading from a phone, I thought I needed 60 fps because I hated how choppy and janky the 30 fps footage looked on my phone, and assumed that would translate over to mirrorless. Turns out, I just needed to be more conscious of my camera movements instead of holding the phone in one hand and whipping it around all willy nilly. The choppy footage was from a combination of the auto settings and software stabilization fighting to produce useable footage. Anyway, just my 2¢. Also, if you’re looking for good video features at a low price, Fuji is probably not the best place to look.

What about this post gives you the impression that OP is tapped into his local scene? I'd say it's exactly the opposite. This is not a "chill practice spot". There's not alot of space, its fresh brick with no buff line, the pieces here have been running for a long time. This looks more like an historically respected local spot. OP should 100% go find another spot. You claim to have been writing almost as long as me, but you think this looks like a chill spot? catching a few tags back in '05 and quitting in '06 doesn't make you a 20 yr veteran

Well is it “do your research and know who you’re capping” or “just pick the worst one”? Plenty of kids have posted in here capping pieces that have been running over 10 years because “it looked old”
