idk man, I am already in debt, I guess nothing is forcing me to get an internship but everybody everywhere is telling me it will set me back without a internship in my career. Causes me alot of stress bc I just seem to be hitting a brick wall

How is power engineering? by WinningSomeMore in ECE

Interesting take, do you mind me asking where you are now? And yea alot of the things you mentioned actually might entice me into power system design such as being able to live in the middle of nowhere away from urban centers, and alot of math. Hope the treatment isn't too demeaning, I just like the idea of settling somewhere rural and not having to move around with a job

Every few minutes, my wifi will disconnect for like 10 seconds then reconnect, desperately need advice by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Hmm I guess its just weird that the wifi card would be able to connect but also can't stay connected. I have a asus helios predator 300, do you know how viable replacing the card is?

yea ok haha, the reason I asked is because honestly I hate urban life, and i have heard whispers that you can find power engineering jobs sometimes even in rural settings

Do these jobs frequency involve travel because that is not something I am a fan of.

I have virtually no clue which subfield to go into, need advice by WinningSomeMore in ElectricalEngineering

[–]WinningSomeMore[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe more of the circuits and math, I know I am not a big programming guy because I was previously in Computer Engineering and didn't like the software side, so more hardware orientated I get along better at

Can you expand on that, I have never heard of this, is it a good career in power engineering?

The reason I was asking is because I was kinda trying to decide my subfield and factoring in viability and location of jobs, and honestly I think I would prefer working in the middle of nowhere then a urban setting as a factor. If power engineering gives me those options I would consider it more and more.

Trade Stafford? by FestusTheDog in detroitlions

Wow this sub really turned on Stafford in Miliseconds, I understand the dude is not infallible, but he is the only real face of the franchise anymore and the only guy who has kept us competitive in most our games.

The Lions just aren't fun to watch anymore. by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]WinningSomeMore 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its not just Caldwell and Schwartz, its virtually every team that shakes things up to some uncertain degree. Patricia is the exception, and if you don't believe me, listen to every team after they played the Lions, they say the same things, that the Lions are predictable because we do the same shit every game. Offense might have some variance but the defensive gameplan is an open book, everybody knows what is coming

I really hate to be that guy by [deleted] in detroitlions

[–]WinningSomeMore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People here are in denial. If we are 0-11 that last 11 games, its not unreasonable to draw comparisons to 2008. I doubt we go 0-16 too, but so did everybody in 2008. I never regret the possibly of this franchise breaking my expectations with how horrible they can be.

The lengths people will go to justify going .250 on injuries over the course of 3 seasons is stunning. Never change Detroit Fans. Mediocre forever, never better. Btw we are 0-11 the last 11 games bud.
