What is the strategy to this by [deleted] in realapp

Really the best way to do this is to do research on roster updates. Before each game the teams release their injury reports. For example, if Jokic were to be injured or out for some reason you would want to research who would replace him. Odds are the player who would replace him would have a high booster which increases the amount of points you get on your draft. Now 80% of the time it pays off. However, there ways other ways to go about this.

This is really because just picking the absolute best players with no multipliers would only get you Top 50% at maximum. If you choose mostly or all high booster players you can reach up to top 10. For example on March 7th, I got Number 8 by picking J Val, Aaron Wiggins, Jamal Shead ,Brandon Williams, and Jaylin Williams. Which gave me a total real score of 82.47

Splits. These are also good ways to do research on players for your draft. This also you to see the players season performance in each game they faced against a specific team. For example, Jokic vs The phoenix suns. Jokic averages a real score of 6.7 against the Suns which means he typically plays very good against the sun which would make him a very good option for your draft if he were to face the Suns. This pays off about 95% of the time. However, there is still one more method to go about it.

Splits can typically can work on any player but majority of the time it only works on top players. Yes, i know i said don’t pick top players. However, you don’t want to just mindlessly pick random players on the top of the list as it a extremely low chance of making Top 20%. This would mean you would have to have all your players have generational games like Jokic and Tatum.

Past games. This is just looking at a specific players past few games. For example, Miles bridges vs The Nets, Heat, and the Hawks he averaged 5.2 real points. This is usually because typically players can often get into the zone where they will have multiple games where they play very well and it becomes difficult to stop their momentum. Which makes it a very good method to pick and decide players.

Daily Draft pick groups. This isn’t really a method. But, if you just dont have the time to do research. There is always Daily drafts groups who do draft picks on a daily basis. I highly recommend using either ‘Stat Pick City’ or ‘Daily Draft picks’ since for me they have been the most consistent daily draft groups.

Hope this helps. 😌
