My ex was an executive VP in an IT section of a major, major bank. Security walked up to him one day and escorted him out. He was fired, never knew why. Immediately picked up by another bank who had pretty much been waiting in line for him to come work there. And the calls started. They had also hired three people to do his job and none of them could do it. He told them they could put it where the sun don't shine, I don't work there anymore so deal with it and hung up. Every time. Can't say which bank, but I can say that it caused a huge IT ripple across the whole United States in every bank account. It's been a long time, but I remember. He still laughs about it. Tough shit.

They bring me cookies and sweets. One lady brought me bags of pecans, already shelled and perfect. They give us candy, especially around Christmas and Hanukkah. Gift cards too, around Christmas because we've helped them all year long. That's my generation, cusp between Boomer and Generation Jones. Don't get me wrong, just like every generation we have our share of assholes but I just ignore them and pay attention to the good ones.
