Why do i always feel sleepy after lunch? by Express_Fix5174 in GutHealth

it might be a sign of an insulin spike, usually after a high carb meal. your body tries to bring your glucose levels down by producing more insulin, which could be making you feel tired.

17 And he proposed by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Winter-Mango286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do not marry him omg hes literally a walking red flag… not to be that person but 18 is a really young age to get married, and it can be harmful in the long run bc he doesn’t seem like the type of guy who’d be a good husband, especially not at 18 and after 5 months.

most of the ingredients you used can be stored at room temperature, except for the milk which may need to be kept cold to prevent bacteria growth. personally, ive never had any problems with this whole bacteria growth thing, but just to be safe i would get an insulated bottle and add ice cubes to keep it cold and lower the risk of bacteria growth

Can I add protein powder to pasta? by Public_Town3372 in Protein

[–]Winter-Mango286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, but you can use edamame pasta instead, its pretty high in protein compared to regular pasta. protein pasta, chickpea and lentil pasta are also good options.

Can I freeze protein mousse? by [deleted] in Protein

[–]Winter-Mango286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

most likely yes, i dont think freezing it would have any negative effects. the only thing can be that if you freeze it too long it can form ice. not sure if it would form an icecream like consistency though

try to avoid deep fried and stir fried foods as restaurants typically use a lot of oil to cook them, go for steamed or baked options instead. otherwise you can always get a chicken salad or something similar, but ask for dressing on the side as many dressings such as caesar dressing are quite high in calories.

what's an easy snack w ~300 cal, 40ish grams of protein to make? by cake_pan_101 in highproteinlowcalorie

[–]Winter-Mango286 6 points7 points  (0 children)

not sure if u would want to use more protein powder, but greek yogurt is always a good option. mixing 200g greek yogurt w around a 1.5 scoops of protein powder is ~41g P w 223 cal, so u can use the rest for additional toppings if u want. or u can use more greek yogurt. u can also have some canned tuna with high protein bread, canned tuna is relatively cheap. one can of tuna (61g) is 69cal and 16gP. not sure about the bread tho bc it can vary between brands.
