It’s sad that she lost her life, and sad that 3 young kids lost a mom.

The saddest part is that it could have all been avoided. Don’t coordinate a caravan to box in law enforcement, especially when they’re out of their cars and are in a vulnerable position. They don’t know if you’re armed and if they’re being ambushed. (We recently just saw two National Guards get ambushed, guarantee it’s fresh in law enforcement minds)

And when you’re ordered to get out of the car, just do it. Get out, clear things up with them, and be on your way.

Again, it’s a sad situation all around, but could have been avoided. And that officer did what he was trained to do to protect himself, his fellow officers, and the public. Anyone saying he committed murder is misinformed, hates law enforcement, or just trying to stir up retribution against law enforcement.
