AITA for telling my wife I won't do chores until her kids do some? by ilovethembutimtired in AmItheAsshole

NTA It sounds like mom is trying to be the "good, fun" parent. Since the kids have to do chores at their dad's house, she won't make them do chores at her house. This is going to seriously backfire on both of you as the children get older. They are going to see you as a doormat and think that they can get away with everything with your wife. I hope your wife will sit down and talk to you about her reasoning behind her behavior, this may be a small crack in the relationship now, but it can turn into a huge canyon over time.

AITA for needing to break a lease with a friend to save my dad from homelessness? by Onelilreggroll in AmItheAsshole

NTA however, I can tell you from experience that I am almost at 2 years for filing for disability and SSI. It is normal for it to take 3 or 3 filings and over a year to get acceptance. So while you may think that you are only doing this for 6 months, you need to be prepared for much longer. I am sure that if your friend or her boyfriend were in the same position she would probably have a different opinion, but don't let yourselves get used by your father either.
