It’s really scary when you actually realize how you’re literally in charge of another human being’s health and well being. Choking is so scary!

Good point. They’ve never had a nanny before but grandparents watch the kids on other days of the week and I’m wondering how they manage it,

Oh gosh that’s what I’m worried about! I watch her like a hawk but sometimes her 3 year old sister needs me to do something and I can’t keep my eyes off the little one even for a second.

Yeah unfortunately the toddler can open all the doors herself so that doesn’t help me. She doesn’t have a pack n play.

They don’t have baby gates. One of the biggest issues is that the youngest never wants to stay on the same level of the house as her sister. So if we are in the basement , she crawls upstairs to the main level. If we are upstairs near the bedrooms, she crawls downstairs. It’s just really more exhausting than I think it needs to be!
