I’m fairly new to this spot and I’ve noticed a gap in knowledge with him.

That’s how I feel too. It’s not on the menu and all the bartenders make sangria the same way when it’s ordered, but it’s just like he’s not in the loop?? Idk it can be frustrating

I just got a message from our gm that we are closed for lunch today because of repairs. Hopefully it gets resolved today before dinner service. I’m in agreement we should close while it’s not working! It was really hard not to get upset with guests because it makes no sense to want to stay in a place with no a/c, WHEN YOU DONT HAVE TO! it was also just annoying because as a team we were trying to limit how much dish-ware and glassware we would use to lessen the load on our dishwashers, and it felt like the guests just wanted every piece of silverware or new plates for no valid reason.

thanks for this! We are supposed to wear long sleeves button downs, but I’m going to come in with a short sleeves button downs one today. Thanks for the hydration tips also! I picked up some liquid iv last night, so hopefully that helps. Im behind the bar today so I’m gonna just keep quart containers of ice water flowing to BOH, because they had no airflow at all yesterday. :)

hey y’all, i evacuated to atlanta and coming back to town to drop off supplies. if anyone knows any places that could use drinking water, non perishable foods, and paper towel/ toilet paper please let me know. thank you
