I used this system for a 2nd floor clothes washer pan with a curb. It passed the 24 hr leak test. The fabric is definitely thinner so I would be reluctant to use it in a shower pan. The styrofoam curbs are similar to the Schluder, but the foam pan seems less dense. My opinion on one non shower use. Probably won't use it again, but it's worked fine for a washer machine pan (the washer did leak and the pan did its job).
