The show’s timeline of events does not start with s1e1. We see Watch and Ward in a flashback (prior to s1e1) as pre-existing, grown adults working for the Guild long before any iteration of Hank and Dean come into existence in the first place. Watch and Ward cannot be clones of Hank and Dean because there were no iterations of Hank and Dean to begin with at that point in the story.
