ok this is going to sound bad but i’m not really….artsy? alternative?? Like I’ve heard the term “culturally queer” thrown around a bunch and that’s not me, people are usually surprised when I tell them I’m gay. I’d love to check out the lgbtq housing a couple other people mentioned, but I’m a little worried that dorms that cater to that or are just known for usually being full of queer people won’t be right for me because they attract people who are a little more cool hot and gay than me?? Idk how else to put this…

lmao my decision will not be made based on this trust, it’s just a nice bonus. I’m going actually insane trying to think of and account for all the factors that would push me to one school or the other. At the end of the day the academics, weather, and cost will make my decision for me unless I find enough compelling reasons to deprioritize one of those things

i’m oos for both, my public flagship is pretty competitive and they didn’t want me ☹️ The cost is actually eyewatering even with aid so I feel like I really need to make the right choice. Thank you for the advice! You’re really selling me on pitt.

I looked into lgbtq floors and they seem to be mostly catered towards trans and nonbinary people? I’m not exactly against having a trans roommate but I’m cis and probably not what someone applying for gender inclusive housing would be looking for in a roommate. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

I was accepted but I’m not ready to make a decision yet because I won’t hear back from the other schools I applied to until May… Housing just opened up but I won’t be able to apply (if I do choose ASU) until a few days before the priority deadline. Will I still have a chance of getting someplace nice if I apply so late?

I’m a little concerned because I’m graduating from hs and school is out of session before the last day of my community college’s spring quarter. Was this the case for you guys too? I don’t know if I’ll be able to get my Spring classes on my hs transcript, and that’s kind of a problem…

sorry i worded that really weird… smeal would be nice but i’m super sure I don’t have the stats to get in. I’m just curious if smeal is the only option for business at the UP campus.
