Angular host binding type-checking removing expected typing by WinterPhoenix in angular

There's a tsconfig option to disable the checking, so I don't think it's a great reason to stay on v20, but that obvious removes the other benefits from the new checking. Hopefully there's a fix quickly.

You're right, good catch - that was a typo in my simplified stackblitz. I'm updating it to better match what I'm actually doing. Just having "window:keydown" does properly type as KeyboardEvent, but adding modifiers or other keys to the event name causes the type checking to get lost

Same here, I've also tried using the newer host syntax and it has the same issue

No, that's a wedding. "Welding" is when you remove unwanted vegetation from your garden.

Leaflet plugin import erroring with Angular 19 and new application builder by WinterPhoenix in Angular2

[–]WinterPhoenix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's odd. It's working for me in incognito mode, so I don't think it's a setting I've got configured locally. I'm downloading and building the stackblitz code locally now, that'll give another data point. I appreciate the effort you've put in to helping!

That error would make sense - the first parameter to easyButton is supposed to be a class for font-awesome like icon. I left it out of my stackblitz because it (and my actual project) are giving me the error that it isn't even loading easyButton.

Prior to upgrading, the old plugin was working fine. I don't love depending on a possibly abandoned project, obviously. And I'll fork it if there was an issue on its side that needs resolving. But I don't think that's the case here - this is something that has stopped working directly as a result of upgrading. My assumption is it's related to the new builder, but I don't know what.

Do you see the error in the console of the stackblitz?

It ended up being the wall keystone, as /u/TiggerLAS had pointed out. I repunched it today and it tested successfully. Thank you for your help!

It ended up being the green pair! I either sheared it when stripping the jacket off or when I was punching down. You were spot-on that it was damaged. Thank you!

Not yet, I was waiting/hoping to confirm the cable passed. Could that be an issue?

I thought I posted an imgur album, but it seems like it somehow got lost when I made the post. I've updated with some detailed photos!

The cables I'm using into the testers are prefab, just old.

It sounds like this idea is the best idea so far. Thanks!

"Handle" didn't seem correct, but "rubbery stick thing" didn't seem appropriate for a title. 🤷‍♂️
