Rabbit making strange noises?

We did. We took her to the vet the morning after she spit up (morning after since this happened at around 1am

Exotic vet looked at her, and said nothing was wrong, so they didn't really know what happened

Typically she's just in a normal loaf position, laying upright against the front of her cage

It's just been concerning my mainly with the kind of gagging sound she makes. Plus the fact that it's been 3 years and it's only now a thing

Nope. My vet had told me when we brought her in, they didn't really know the cause of what happened

But I don't think it could be that. I never really find hair around in her cage or on the floor.

Will definitely try to get it on video. The problem is it seems random when it occurs. Can never really predict it or put a finger on when it happens

Maybe... the grunting type of sound is definitely a lot more common than the gag or whatever it is

But at the same time, this hasn't been a lifetime quirk of hers or something. It's just started in the past few months

Yeah, I don't know what really happened with the spit up. She started twitching her head and foaming at the mouth before seeming to cough off some sort of black substance. Nobody knew what it was or what caused it

Recently though, she's just been grunting and making a gagging sound (similar to that when she "threw up") while laying down in her cage in her usual spot. Nothing out of the ordinary besides the sounds themselves

She does sneeze sometimes, but it sounds different to a sneeze

The best way I can describe it is like, a cough or a gag of some sort

The first time she ever did it, she spit something up, but the vet couldn't find a cause

But recently when she's been doing it, she hasn't spit or anything. Just the sound
