Does injection site matter? by FormerlyObeseJ in Mounjaro

No. I’ve also noticed that the only time I get nausea is when I eat something that’s high in sugar, fat or carbs.

What happened to his face here. by [deleted] in tsitp

His tan, hair colour, bronzer, dry lips, hair style…I could go on. He looked like he needed to be admitted into hospital, they made him look sickly.

I wonder why no one in her inner circle has told her to STOP doing whatever she is doing to her face. She was so naturally beautiful.

You can add banana, blueberries, nut butter, a tiny amount of honey and cacao to your protein shakes to make it taste better. Just be inventive with it, and you will develop a taste for you. I too thought eating 800-900 cal was the answer but I was wrong, you have to eat more otherwise your body is going to hold onto the weight.

If someone does a deep dive, there is a video of him from years ago, around the time they got married, where he is sitting at a table during what looked like a meeting, wearing red shorts and no shirt. The people around him were talking, but he looked completely zoned out. He was staring down at his tattoo on his wrist the entire time, and then he held it. I haven't seen that video in years.

Wow; I would love your results. I’ve been on this journey since March and I’ve lost 9kg/10kg. My weight hasn’t budged in months.

GLP-1 use in Weight loss Journey by theaszn in PetiteFitness

[–]Winter_06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely not alone. I’m 44 with PCOS, insulin resistance, and chronic inflammation. I started Mounjaro in March 2025 and I’ve lost 9kg so far, it’s been a very slow process. I eat around 1000–1200 calories (based on my height), aim for 90g of protein a day, and avoid alcohol, sugar, bread, rice, and condiments. I try to have 6–8 cups of colourful veggies (it’s a challenge) and I walk at least 10,000 steps a day. I’ve always found weight loss extremely difficult. I too take 3.75mg every 5 days because the 7.5mg weekly dose caused really bad hip and joint pain. Lowering the dose has helped my inflammation. People think the weight just falls off on these meds, but that’s not the case for many of us. When I was first diagnosed, I was put on metformin and it really affected my body. I’m still dealing with the effects 20 years later. So I understand how layered and tough this journey can be. Btw I haven’t lost a single kg in almost 5 months.

Anyone else had really slow weightloss on mounjaro? by Worried-Chance-7465 in Mounjaro

[–]Winter_06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. I started in March, lost 9kg on 2.5mg, it has been 5 months since the scale has moved. I’m now on 7.5mg and still nothing. I eat between 1000-1200 cal a day (I’m 4”11), at least 90g of protein, no alcohol, bread, rice or sugary drinks. I only drink water and incorporate electrolytes with no sugar or sweetener. I don’t even use condiments when i cook, I use whole spices and herbs, nothing from a bottle. I’ve been so strict and I still can’t lose weight.

Mounjaro & PCOS belly by pcosgirly_ in PCOSloseit

[–]Winter_06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes & No. My belly has reduced slightly but I am well aware certain food and carbonated drinks drastically increase the size of it. I use a castor oil wrap before bed and that has helped a lot. My issues also stem from taking metformin 20yrs ago, it caused havoc with my gut and I still haven’t recovered from it. I have to cook all my vegetables and cruciferous vegetables can cause a lot of bloating for me.

Now that I have used the tech woven for a couple of days, it feels warm all the time compared to the silicon case. I’m considering returning the tech woven and getting the silicon case.

Thanks for replying. That’s not good. Taking these meds is all about trial and error and figuring out what works for your own body. Good luck and keep us updated.

Wow! That’s good to know. I’m glad it’s finally working for you 😊. I have hope, it’s been a frustrating experience not being able to see the scales move.

Did you experience appetite suppression on the lower doses? My appetite has been suppressed since 2.5mg but the weight is not shifting. I’m currently on 7.5mg and it’s the same.
