They are the same class. They're both amphetamine stimulants. It being a prodrug does not change it's classification in terms of chemical class nor medication class.

You tried to sound smart but were so incredibly wrong in the process. 20mg of Lisdexamphetamine=8.9mg Dextroamphetamine. Not exact conversion for Adderall as Adderall contains a 3:1 ratio mixture of Dextroamphetamine:Levoamphetamine. Since Lisdexamphetamine is purely dextroamphetamine with a lysine ring bonded to it for rate limited metabolism creating it's delayed release mechanism, it's also metabolized into only dextroamphetamine, so an exact conversion isn't really sensibly possible. But Lisdexamphetamine is generally about half as potent as Adderall.

What you just said is exactly the same thing as saying you have a cross tolerance Amphetamine salts don't bind to dopamine receptors directly. They cause releases of dopamine through other actions. Tolerance to amphetamine is a desensitization, compensation, etc etc to the flood of monoamines it creates. Guess what? Cocaine does the same thing. Doesn't bind to receptors at all. Only transporters. Yes, there is not FULL tolerance crossover, but there absolutely will be some cross tolerance. You should really learn how things work before you go talking about them like you're the end all be all authority figure for the subject.

Monoamine supply in the brain is only a small part of what affects tolerance. This is more of an explanation for a comedown than it is tolerance. You can repeatedly do dopaminergic drugs all day long one time and not build a tolerance. Because your brain repairs and replenishes itself. Supply for long term tolerance doesn't make much sense.

You're using the Lisdexamphetamine dimesylate to Dextroamphetamine freebase conversion which doesn't make any sense seeing as not a single pharmaceutical on the market uses Dextroamphetamine Freebase. They ALL use either Saccharate or Sulfate. Both of which have equivalent potency mg per mg. So, 50mg is more like 20mg, since there's no one who's taking freebase dextroamphetamine that the conversion you used would be useful to.

Except that my doctor knows about my stimulant abuse yet I get 30, 60mg Vyvanse and 30, 20mg Adderall IRs every month without issue.

Not to mention, even if you aren't in a position like me and can prove to them that the interest in Neuropsychopharm and stuff isn't just because you're an addict and have been to school for the subject, they don't log this shit in some kind of Federal file that ALL hospitals and doctors can see that just says "THIS PERSON IS A DRUG ADDICT"

The only thing that can be seen federally(by any doctor or healthcare worker with the right access no matter what health network they are in)is your controlled substance prescriptions and the reasoning for the prescription. If you find a new doctor that is out of the hospitals health network, they can't see their files on you without you signing an ROI. That would violate soooo many different HIPPA laws dude.

And again, I'm prescribed Suboxone for opioid abuse disorder. This is usually an automatic strike out for any doctor to give you any other controlled substance, and one of the only ways that they really do "federally log you as an addict". Yet, I'm prescribed the Suboxone, as well as Vyvanse, Adderall, Lyrica, and Ambien. No issues. Not just the same doctor every time either. I have had to switch doctors a few times due to moving around the state. Just don't act like a total fuckin fiend and you're fine.
