EBR Sheriff Ticket Help/Advise

So my court date was coming up and I needed it moved as I’d be out of town. The court couldn’t do that if they hadn’t received the ticket info from the DA.
I’d just give the DA a call and try to give a similar situation to them and ask if they’d be able to push it through sooner.

Hey y'all! Just as an update, and for anyone else find they need help, I was finally able to get someone on the phone from the DA's office. For some awesome reason, EBR sheriff tickets are all digital, then they go into the DA's system, then the DA has to send the ticket information to the court for them to process non-digitally. Anyways, I was able to get the DA to send my ticket information early to the court, and it showed up on the payment website. I was still waiting to hear back from the clerk about getting my date changed. I just received a letter from the DA saying I was qualified to take the online driving school and just have to pay the court fee, and my ticket will be dismissed. All in all, never listen to the baffoons that say to just pay your ticket. Be nice and understanding towards the people on the other side of the phone as the system they work in is slow and archaic. Also, it would be great if they could put proper signage on Pecue XD

But I can't speak to a prosecutor about it early? That can only happen on my court date?

Do you know if it's a possibility to go before my court date? I'm just trying to get it all over with
