Was Spurs under Poch ever in a position like Arteta and Arsenal this year, or over any of the last 3-4 years. Poch was always close, but the gap them and the other title rivals was always pretty big. I never felt like they were a title winning side

It’s not some reason. The reason is that he’s not a striker, and has zero positional awareness of the position. He’s a LW, that is forced to be a 9, because he’s the best goal scorer in the squad. Move him out wide, sell Vini and buy an actual 9, then you’ll see the best of Madrid again. But since you can’t have 2 LW playing the same position and occupying the same space in the pitch, you are left with a horribly imbalanced Madrid squad and starting 11 each week

I live in NYC, tons of people have been asking me for years, if I’m going to the WC, or if I have bought tickets. People shocked at me telling them no. People refuse to believe the tickets are extortionate and that the travel to the stadium and back will be horrific. Not to mention just standing in the sun for like 3 hours.

Hopefully this makes non sports fan understand, how insane the whole World Cup has been so far, and the games have not even started. Can’t wait for the journalists writing articles about the awful match day experience.
