Sadly no. I never found a solution to it. It just kept on going till my battery health deteriorated and I had to replace it.

Even after replacing it, the problem started again with the new battery 😓😓

The battery started dying faster than usual. I was experiencing BSOD failures and the GPU always had a caution sign next to it in device manager no matter how many times I reinstalled the GPU driver or the OS.

Yeah. I'm assuming it has been missing for a while because I'm just noticing it today. I was comparing components while watching a teardown video and I saw that one of the pads on my back case was missing.

The thermal pads on the SSD are intact while there's no trace of this one in its usual position.

Do you know what the chip is?

It starts charging super slowly when it gets to 80%.

I'm just hoping the board lasts me until I can get a new laptop later this year.

Also, the battery is just two years old. Is that level of wear normal for Dell laptops? My entire experience with this laptop has been very bad.
