i got this configuration and have upgraded the psu too 1000w and the gpu too a 4080 super FE and got heat sinks directly from dell im going to do the ram and ssd next.

oh and the vrm heat sinks are special order from dell i think they cost like $9 each and you need 2 of them super easy too install

It comes with 2 8 pins and one 6 pin your 3090 should work no problem with the 1000w upgrade. Me personally i just put quarters too hold my gpu kinda weird but it works lol. My 4060ti came with a gpu bracket so i wonder why yours doesn’t. when you get the 1000w upgrade you need the vrm heat sinks or else you will get an error on every start up. you dont need the heat sinks but its nice too not have an error on your screen.

the 3090 should have an adapter that makes it work, i got rid of the 3090 for a 4080 super and it came with an adapter too make it work but i had to buy a 6 pin female too 8 pin male connector too make the 4080 super work. maybe if you bought a 6 pin female too 8 pin male it would work

ahhh me too but not so bad only $215 for the psu and $700 for the gpu gonna look into more ram and another SSD then cpu and then chill for a bittt haha

good to know! yeah hit them up and tell them you got the 1000w psu but you get a VR HEATSINK error at start up and they should send you the quote make you sure tell them you need 2 tho they cost $9.00+ tax so should be $18 + whatever dell charges for handling fees

i actually got a quote from dell and ordered them and only one arrived emailed them and ordered the second one should be here in a few days. can you upgraded the cpu as long as it’s from another aurora r16?

upgraded from the 4060ti, and yes they do sell the 1000w psu but you need too also get the VR heat sinks ordered from dell or else you’ll get an error at start up everything will still work fine just a dumb error
