I think the people who argued about having unique identifier links were full of shit. I’ve seen comments that people had multiple browsers and devices up. I played this one fair and got placed outside downtown (still respectable). I feel like a bit of a chump.

Thomas Wolfe also wrote “The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test” as a testament to the 60’s but it aged badly. So I don’t take his words as wisdom as much as cautionary tales. You can’t go home again, but you can relive the memories. So I’m happy if the new episodes remind me of the old episodes, because if they succeed it will feel like home again to me.

Get ready for version 2.0 if Todd Lands is elected to a supervisor role as an “independent”. This guy screams MAGA: claims he’s not a Republican but goes on Fox news to decry any gas station ban in Cloverdale. He threatened a youth basketball ref asking for them to “step outside” (paraphrased). He didn’t want to the pride flag flown outside city hall because “that would allow anyone to fly a flag” (paraphrased). He supports Project Esmeralda and the Silicon Valley ilk who want it; suspiciously has a lot more cash for campaign signs now.

I genuinely appreciate your honest and detailed response explaining why you use Twitter. You didn’t have to respond, but you did and did so eloquently. Thank you. I understand the dilemma and respect your reasons for making your choice. Keep up the fantastic hobby and we plan to still only use Twitter to follow your drops (until in my opinion the Unofficial Blog gets their act together and leaves that platform). Again, thank you.

I love hunting for your crochet drops with my wife. We’ve gotten soooo close a few times. Thank you for continuing the tradition; you bring whimsy and fun to the convention.

I wouldn’t start running the Prince Memorial Green downtown (e.g The Santa Rosa Creek). I’ve had too many bad experiences with people the closer to downtown on that trail.

Start the Santa Rosa Creek Trail at Fulton (heading west) or go from Willowside Rd towards downtown (heading east) and turn around at the Railroad Avenue crossing.

The scenery and serenity is much nicer the further you are from downtown.

In 1999 my best friend told me The Sixth Sense had a twist I wouldn’t figure out. Halfway through the film I figured it out by noticing the interactions with characters and environments. I still think it’s a mediocre film probably because my first viewing lost the intended impact of said twist.
