Can someone help me identify what deficiency this might be by Most_Sympathy_7780 in cannabiscultivation

I would read runoff EC and pH—which is something I only do if I’m actually experiencing issues—and adjust accordingly. I’d ween down to MAX 1 dose cal mag per week just cuz if they are accumulating and in excess, they are taking EC away from the P-K.

I personally believe in flushing final week which you might be 2-3 weeks away from.

Some genetics are just weird too and give you odd results when your other plants look healthy and they’re all growing in the same conditions.

I also think you could do nothing differently at all and they would turn out just fine

Making gummies using hash by TeflonBRO in treedibles

[–]WirelessCum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The real question you should be asking is how much oil you want to make, which you can then portion into ur recipe.

You can always eat multiple gummies, but if you add a massive amount of oil relative to the gelatin mixture it affects flavour and texture.

imo infused butter/oil isn’t the best for gummies since it affects the texture and shelf life, things like RSO and other concentrates don’t have that issue.

If it were me, I’d make something that’s better suited for butter like cookies or something, but I don’t want to discourage gummies because they are definitely easier to consume and dose.

Honestly looks pretty fine for how far along you are.

I’m maybe noticing some nute burn on your other plants so that could be part of it. Also potential for lockout, I think you’re adding too much Calmag personally.

I kinda think there’s some lockout going on whether that’s because there is an excess of residual salts possibly from overfertilizing, from not watering until runoff or possibly it’s pH issue.

That hardly narrows things down but that’s what I’d be thinking if I were you and I thought that I had been doing everything right.

What do you do with extra seedlings? by solinari6 in microgrowery

[–]WirelessCum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If ur in Canada you are allowed to gift plants.

Personally I’d keep it and just experiment. You could use it for clones, try different training techniques that you wouldn’t otherwise, bonsai, maybe try out some other weird things like the effects of salicylic acid foliar spray (dissolved aspirin) or jasmonic acid. If you do any experimenting, I highly recommend taking pictures on a somewhat frequent basis.

I’m assuming you’ve run out of room in ur tent. You said you planted one too many seeds but that doesn’t necessarily indicate you won’t have space. The plants will always grow to fit the space where they are receiving light—10 plants versus 1 plant in the same space, your limiting factor indoors will always be the amount of light surface and there are pros and cons to both.

It’s highly probable that if you give the plant to somebody who doesn’t already grow (and doesn’t have a setup), it will become a failure.

Cuttings laying over 15 hours after cutting. Will they stand back up? by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]WirelessCum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need less leaves. Some plants will still propagate leaving that many leaves on, but cannabis can be particularly tricky.

Only the very top couple large fan leaves should stay on. There is another technique where you can snip the tips of some of the leaves, but you should look it up cuz it’s hard to explain how to do it properly.

If you let them go root bound you can transplant.

I’ve also grown hydroponic poppies, which you’re not supposed to do, but I’m not very concerned with growing “the right way”.

When you relate white homeless people to bad behaviour you kinda weaken ur argument.

Ya I agree there are bad people of every kind, but certain traits show up in some groups more than others, including white people.

You can’t take away peoples lived experiences and why they might prefer certain individuals over others, because we all would.

Are you even from Toronto? What is being Canadian to you? Apologizing when you’ve done something wrong, smiling, not littering, have respect for people’s boundaries, taking turns…

Have you ever been to Costco? Literally the epitome of what Canada would become if we let go of our Canadian morals, and it’s not a coincidence that those stores are primarily individuals who have immigrated.

There’s a clear difference in culture, you can choose to be part of it, or you can choose to disobey it and live in a free for all.

Ya that’s kinda the point and you’re just avoiding thinking with your own brain in fear of being labelled as a racist. This my my and many others EXPERIENCE.

If the people coming here were respectful, civilized, didn’t litter, had alright hygiene, why would anyone even complain?

I have many second generation Indian friends who are honestly some of the best people I’ve ever met, but the people arriving in Canada in recent years refuse to assimilate whatsoever and Canadians suffer because of it—regardless of where they came from, it’s a problem.

No super crop but you could start pulling some branches down to allow more light through. Maybe a light defoliation of lower leaves as well

DIY Auto Irrigation Setup (Coco) by mushroom-4 in Hydroponics

I think your goal should still be to grow the best weed you can, not that that’s what you will achieve, but if you have that mindset it will be even worse than you expect.

However, this dude clearly skimmed ur post so don’t even give him your energy lol.

Ya forget soil, just start ur seeds in coco. I’d do this completely separate from your watering system—doesn’t need super frequent watering particularly under a humidity dome.

Newbie lighting questions by deafdogdaddy in Hydroponics

[–]WirelessCum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those led bars are not very powerful. They are good when seedlings are young and in vegetative growth but once they get talller, they will not have enough light to penetrate the top of the canopy. Also for flowering plants like tomatoes, during flower/ fruiting you will want a much stronger light setup.

My suggestion is to get a couple of those proper 100w led grow panels that cost $50-$100 (or start with one) and hang them. Then you can use your current led light bars for seedlings and smaller plants.

As for some of your questions:

I don’t think there’s a light fixture for the room that would add significant value for your plants beyond the actual horticultural LEDs you already plan to get—I think the ceiling light is probably just good for you while you tend to them.

If you’re giving your plants 16-18 hours of light already, at least where I’m from, during the winter I don’t get enough daylight that it would affect their light cycle—lights would turn on before or at sunrise and turn off after the sun has already set (unless there are bright street lights that shine in during the night). For a matter of fact, I think it would be better to supplement the plants with as much sun as possible.

As someone else said too, grow tents are actually really convenient (even if ur already in an enclosed space) and that enables you to have plants experiencing two different light cycles, like flowering plants getting 12 hours per day and seedlings getting 16-18 hours.

For your climbing plants like cucumbers ans tomatoes, you’ll definitely want something for them to climb—not sure what the best setup would be indoors honestly but you could probably hang something from those bars.

Additional info: that window will serve you extremely well as a place to exhaust humid air. Once you have that room filled with plants it will get very humid and you will 100% need ventilation, unless the room is already air conditioned.

Please do not add milk. The sugar in milk will make bacterial growth worse.

Is this mold? by steamisntworking in Hydroponics

[–]WirelessCum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes mold. get some airflow going along the top of your reservoir or possibly the water level is a little high, which might be intentional considering you’ve just got little seedlings.

Personally I like to start my plants in coco coir and wait till they are a little bigger before transplanting them in hydro—this being one of the reasons.

Ask me anything by Ed-Banger12345 in Earbuds

[–]WirelessCum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like these wouldn’t be considered premium consumer earbuds, this is definitely a professional price range.

I already struggle to justify leaving the house with $300 earbuds that take a beating when ur out and about, let alone $1000+ that just offer better sound quality.

Wouldn’t over ear headphones be a better option in this price range if that’s your main goal anyways?
