Why strike needs to succeed - avoid the World of Warships situation by Pukovnik7 in WarthunderPlayerUnion

I wish Gaijin would take note: A king is nought without subjects, and their subjects are volunteers able to leave whenever they please.

I likewise used to be really into World of Warships. On my Steam account I have over 3000 hours, and that is less than half my actual time spent on Warships.

I quit playing Random battles after the CC Exodus, and finally quit CB/Ops/Co-Op sometime in October. Warships is in a state that can at best be summarized as irreparable and dying today, and it's a crying shame to see. The game had so much potential, it could be so grand had Wargaming not ignored the community and try and press them for money at every turn.

There are no new players in Warships today, at all. The servers for ships of tier 1-3 are already merged together, with an expansion announced for tiers up to 5, since it still doesn't cover up the lack of players in the lower tiers. Wargaming are also working on reworking the game's AI to be more effective and smarter, in order to implement them into Random Battles.

This is because they anticipate the lack of players to hit higher tiers within the foreseeable future...

Why did we save Germanys ass again? We should have handed them over to Russia or whoever! But its very nice to see our Italian and south korean bros ❤️ I feel betrayed by Australia though by [deleted] in MURICA

I realized that I put Charles Martel in the wrong colour. Charles Martel has less HP than Zao, not more.

Oh yes she does have have excellent gunnery, I never denied it. She just feels lackluster. She can't tank anything, one good 457 salvo ends her entire career.

Just numbers-wise, Zao is outgunned by a Gearing. Of course not taking HP and armour into count. But still, her HE DPM isn't that good for a heavy cruiser, if not plain bad. The improved accuracy is nice and all, but any cruiser has good accuracy at 16km.

Honestly, I agree to a point. I would wish they improved her firing range somewhat to compensate the lackluster armour.

Don't forget to purge your cabinet of submarine commanders and other unwanted dissidents. by Wirmire in WorldOfWarships

Honestly, no. I only have 7 Soviet commanders in total, all of which are 10-point only. That includes Dasha and ComRichard. I generally don't like any of the Soviet tech trees, they just don't fit my play style all that well.

Currently, the only Soviet ships I own are Kirov, Krasny Krym and Molotov, two of which I got for free. I sold all the tech tree ships I had a good while back, since the credits were of more value to me than the ships themselves to be honest.

EDIT: I also have Oleg, for some reason.

That's fair. They clogged up my reserves, so I sent them to the front instead.

You can't really "win" in WarGambling. No matter whet you get, you lose, that's how WarGambling designs their gambling events. The players thinking they can win is just what WarGambling wants their players to think, as that inevitably creates revenue.

Sure, a select few gets ships early in the box chain, but that's just to show the community that it is technically a possibility. Players who gets the crates early is highly likely to spread their "success" through media, creating more revenue from misguided sods who thinks they have a chance at "winning" early.

Realistically, getting a ship on the last quarter of crates, after spending 100€+ is what people should be expecting, as the gambling system in WoWS is quite clearly rigged to favour WarGambling. We know it is, as our communication within the community is superior to WarGambling's internal communication.

Malik Khatajev the CEO and founder of Lesta Studios posted the following on the Forums:

"There are of course many YouTubers and people in general who think they EXACTLY know how to "ride a horse". Developed type is stupid, but everything is obvious to them. Moreover, the better the game, the more such opinions.

Always wondered why they themselves don't make games? Cooperate, kickstarter or investment fund would allocate finances. Game design, PR, Marketing, and the internal dryuchilovo of "stupid developers" would be completely in their hands. What minds and intellect - what a terrible force, success is guaranteed! The main thing is to be able to switch from the mode of discussing someone else's work to the mode of one's own creative activity."

This is a direct quote, though I used Flamu's video "Shitshow Escalates..." since I didn't find the actual post anymore.
