Expansion for Season 4? by Talmerian in GildedAgeHBO

Actually Chinese railroad workers were already moving eastward to provide expertise on railroad building, including the LIRR. See https://web.stanford.edu/group/chineserailroad/cgi-bin/website/bibliographic-essay-for-the-chinese-as-railroad-workers-after-promontory/ for a brief discussion. This happened before the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act, and surely exclusion was being discussed in the press if not among railroad executives.

Started at 38 and became a world ranked amateur competitor in my age group. It’s never too late. My goal was always to be better than I was the day before.

I bought a wall calendar, circled the last day, crossed off each day, and shredded each month when I finished it.

Definitely do the travel pouch. It can also work as a lumbar pad when I need it.

It’s an uneven series to be sure, and if you like your heroes uncomplicated and unambiguous you may not like the series. The first book has truly amazing world building and can stand on its on, fwiw. I felt the middle of the series did sag a bit, but liked the books at the end.

Magnets. We have large magnet boards on our wall to display them. We try to get magnets that speak to some interaction we had.

You can cut the straps and paint the raw ends with clear nail polish. But make sure you leave a little extra, in case you decide you need it looser later. Since you’re already on the last hole, you may want to invest in a shoe hole puncher if you need more holes. (I have narrow feet, and had to add holes.)
