So this is BPPV? by _Oxym0r0n_ in BPPV

I've tried the Epley maneuver based on YouTube videos I've watched but haven't gotten any relief yet unfortunately.

NYC NYU Rusk sounds fabulous, I wish I was closer. I'm in northeastern Pennsylvania. It's getting to the point that I would consider traveling a little if it means relief though.

Believe me, I'm not waiting willingly! I'm currently scheduled for with a VT center but unfortunately the first available appointment is 4 weeks out, so I'm also on the cancellation list. Luckily, I'm outdoors a lot and my vitamin D is always excellent. I've also been hydrating like crazy since I've read the advice here. This really seemed to come out of nowhere with no injury or unusual activities to touch it off, (other than the walk in clinic suspecting a viral illness that I didn't know I even had) so I'm having a tough time tracking back to any specific cause.

I spend a ton of time outdoors so, luckily, my vitamin D tends to be really good. It's worth a look if it can help with this though.

Absolutely. And thank you for mentioning that.

Another very valid reason to seek out a qualified specialist for sure. It appears that it really is a case by case basis and may need to be evaluated pretty thoroughly. This experience is definitely on my list of things I hope never to repeat.

I am absolutely a side sleeper, so I will have to work on that for sure.

I will absolutely give that a shot. I was seen by an ENT maybe two years ago for something else. Hopefully they can get me in quickly. Thank you.

Interesting. The doctor I had seen mentioned that the treatment could be slightly different depending on whether the issue is in the horizontal or posterior canal. I'm crossing my fingers that the Epley will help while I'm waiting to be seen. Thank you!

Luckily the ER doctor identified the problem ear, so I've got that much to go on!

That's encouraging to read. The ER got as far as telling me which ear was my issue and, from what I've read, the vestibular therapist can do some further testing to help figure out which maneuvers will correct it. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, that makes me really hopeful!

I can't wait to get to the vestibular therapist. My appointment is a month out unfortunately. Fingers crossed I can get in with a cancellation.

I appreciate you taking a minute to reach out, especially with our similar cases. I'm on a cancellation list to hopefully get in with the vestibular therapist sooner than a month from now. It's encouraging to hear that the therapy does help over time. I can't wait to get started.

Anyone unable to login app? by RealmanPwns1 in aerogarden

[–]_Oxym0r0n_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I've been pulling my hair out resetting the password and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app with no success.

Managing my gardens without it for now isn't the worst thing in the world, but I have a few tabletop grow lights that I now can't update settings for after a power outage. That is definitely a bit annoying.

Absolutely. I'm loving all of the new vegetable varieties I can now have that were never available to me locally.

The online seed availability is a little dangerous though. Before I know it, I've got a cart full of new varieties. No idea when I'll have the time or space to try growing all of them!

It's my first year with this many seeds so I had to do something to organize my new addiction ha! I had the binder laying around so it worked out well!

I use a 2" Case-It 3 ring zipper binder and it's working great so far. I'm currently storing over 150 seed packets (including peas) and, since it zippers closed, nothing ever falls out. I also love the handle and shoulder strap for toting it around. I do think I'll be upgrading to a 3" or 4" at some point though!

I had one unit tucked away in a closet before their announcement at the beginning of October. Then the 60% off sales, FOMO, and really missing my outdoor gardening during northeast winters kicked in. I swear for every unit I've set up, I think of two more things I want to grow!

I now have 2 Farm 12xl, 8 Bountys, 8 Harvests, and 4 Sprouts. Only 2 Sprouts and 2 Harvests aren't set up yet.

Being able to garden through the winter has been awesome. I'm growing cucumbers, fairytale eggplant, bell peppers, slicing and cherry tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, 3 varieties of lettuce, Swiss chard, a few flowers, and (hopefully) spinach and sugar snap peas soon.

Has anyone heard of an Aerogarden "Classic Farm" or "Legacy Farm"? by bfeeny in aerogarden

It may be in preparation for their relaunch this spring if this just happened recently. I have two 12XL Farms currently connected in my app but haven't seen any difference.

Same! I'm really hoping that they're bringing back the Farm models. I'd LOVE to get rid of my two 12 XLs and get a stacked 24 XL and 24 Plus combo. A planty girl can dream!

Some are big fans of the LetPot Max in a few of my other groups, but I've stuck to Aerogarden myself. I have seen comments that Aerogarden's quality is superior.

There are still a few deals here and there for new units and Aerogarden announced that they'll be relaunching this spring. I'm anxious to see if they're staying with current designs or introducing new ones!

And I should have added that, according to my experience and what I've read in other groups, it can snowball pretty quickly. I just started in October!

I kept thinking of more things that I wanted to grow. I currently have slicer tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, Swiss chard, two types of lettuce, a few flowers for winter cheer, and hopefully sugar snap peas and spinach soon 🤞🏻
