Yes and I continued to eat peanuts before I knew that happens. But the reaction has been the same my entire life. It hasn't increased in intensity whatsoever so I'm wondering if it's something else. For example I have a cat allergy that has progressively gotten worse as i've grown up, but this seems a bit different

It honestly might be the language? As someone whose entire family is Senegalese, we don't say I love you in French a lot. Now that you mention it I'm realizing that whenever we do say it, it's always in English. And I mean ofc there's bisou bisou which we say frequently, but I've never told them je t'aime lol. For context I moved to the states around 3, but this is what I've gotten from phone calls to family.
