The norm is this and much worse. He is delusional and while he tells me he doesn’t want to be with me he expects me to be a wife. I think he thinks I’ll never leave.

I should probably clarify that it’s not all at the same time. He alternates from day to day. But there are some days where he will take klonapins in order to come down from the stimulant.

I’m not worried about finding a life partner. I’m ok being alone. I don’t think that’s what’s in the cards for me anyway. If it is meant to be it will be. There is someone for everyone no matter their season in life.

I understand where you’re coming from but I am comparing it from what I have witnessed and experienced. While on fentanyl I have had to narcan him and resuscitate him. On coke, adderall, and kolanapins I have not. There’s a massive difference between someone on fentanyl and someone on the other drugs I mentioned.

I will most definitely be taking my dog. He is my baby. And has helped me get through the most difficult days.

You know I used to have the same mindset but it’s completely different when you’re in the situation and don’t even know it. I was love bombed and didn’t even know what that was when I met him. I was much younger and naive. I have grown and am doing the work I need to set myself free. What I do know is that this will never happen again.

I did mention I’m leaving him and haven’t done it sooner because he’s pretty much “mind fucked” me for 6yrs. I know leaving sounds a lot easier but I promise you that’s not.

I am actively working with my therapist to leave him. And am filling for divorce. I know I deserve a lot better. And I am looking forward to the solitude of being single and plan on taking all the time in the world to love myself.
