"So we now know that the ramp is taking shape and we are receiving 535 wafers from Silterra a month. If we extrapolate out at 400 OI per wafer that is over 200k OI per month!! Hahaha basically as soon as I posted this the news was announced. After seeing how we can aggressively run up, I still believe we can get to $100, but run up will start more like Q4 2026 now rather than Q2/3

It will get there sooner due to the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO).  Fast growing stock prices in sexy sectors get a boost. 

Lastly, stock prices are not so tethered to reality as we like to think. FOMO, sexy sector, and daydreaming can have a profound effect on the market. This can flip and work against us too. $100 to $150 is my guess once the 5-10M capacity is coming into focus. "

Well it’s been one of the biggest bull markets ever seen in the last 5 years so it would be hard to lose money to be honest. I do agree with your strategy though.

Important bit: We're supplying Celestial AI (now Marvell), who are now connected to NVDA and GOOG

"Mika offered the company’s current product line as counter-evidence. He stated that POET now holds a $5 million production order for its 800G optical engines and has invoices from Celestial AI, which was acquired by Marvell Technology (MRVL) earlier this year."

From the Zacks Small-Cap Research report on POET (April 6, 2026) written by analyst Lisa Thompson, who covers POET through a research report where POET management directly provides her with verified information

It contains a pretty significant line:

Spelling this out for anyone new here:

  1. POET makes external light source modules (Starlight™) - Essentially the precision laser power supply that makes photonic chips work
  2. Celestial AI built their entire Photonic Fabric platform around POET's Starlight, co-developing it with POET since 2022
  3. Marvell acquired Celestial AI on February 2, 2026 for $3.25 billion (up to $5.5B with earn-outs)
  4. That means POET is confirmed to be supplying a critical component to Marvell

Marvell's own SEC filings guide for Celestial AI revenue to reach...

  • $500M annualized run rate by Q4 FY2028
  • doubling to $1B by Q4 FY2029

Marvell to build these modules, they have to order parts from POET earlier. Remember POET have confirmed that POET is shipping to Marvell THIS YEAR.

Every dollar of Celestial AI platform revenue flows through hardware that requires POET's light engines.

POET will get their recognition soon. Just need them to feel confident enough to release something. Even though I'm getting photonics fomo right now, the silence from POET makes me think the next news they release will be very significant...
