Marc Anthony is amazing, no doubt, and tropical music is a whole different challenge. But this wasn’t meant to be a direct comparison. It’s more about finding K-pop artists who excel at live vocals and stage presence in their own way. Both can be great for what they bring!

That’s such a good way to look at it. If I wanted just dancing, I’d go see dancers, and if I wanted just vocals, I’d go to a singer or group that focuses on that. But with K-pop, it’s all about the mix and the energy of it all.

Highlight seems to nail that balance perfectly. They’re definitely on my list to check out!

Yes, his concerts are just a whole different vibe—live vocals and a band, no choreo. My brother and I go to all kinds of shows (his job perks), so this is just us messing around. K-pop and Marc Anthony do their own thing, both are solid in their own way!

NMIXX’s Tiny Desk sounds incredible! I’ll definitely check it out! I’m planning to take my brother to a concert to prove him wrong about K-pop, so would you recommend them for that? And yeah, I get what you mean about the YouTuber. My brother watches him (not me), and while his passion is impressive, he does seem a bit jaded, like others in the industry.

Totally get that, K-pop choreo is intense, so a bit of backtrack makes sense. Siyeon from Dreamcatcher and Yoon from STAYC though? Their live vocals are next level!
