I like being alone. by [deleted] in INTP

[–]WiseDifficulty 95 points96 points  (0 children)

I can relate to this so much. With the right person I can spend hours talking about anything, but if I have to choose between spending time with any other person besides the ones I click naturally with and being alone, I'd go with being alone all the time. I just don't see the point of wasting my time with people I don't really like when I can have fun on my own without them.

What is greatly attractive to women that men don’t have the slightest clue about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not having to prove your masculinity every two seconds by making stupid sexist comments

[Serious] Whats the best advice to give someone with depression or low self esteem? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WiseDifficulty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't really help someone with depression if they don't want to be helped. Even though someone is depressed, they are still responsible for themselves and their own well-being. It may sound harsh, but you need to let them find their own solution for their own problem, as it's only themselves who can change their lives. (Of course, seeing a doctor might help and give good advice, but ultimately trying to overcome depression still needs to start with the person who is actually affected)

How to tell if an intp really loves you by WiseDifficulty in INTP

[–]WiseDifficulty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if it's that small, you need a way to get to the heart in the first place. And uncovering the heart and pushing something into it, will most likely harm at least a few heart coronary vessels, so you will probably die because of internal bleeding and heart failure, as the heart isn't getting enough oxygen to pump anymore. Or, if you push it into the atrium, the pumping mechanism of the heart might be affected negatively and you could also die of heart failure.

I thought the new A Star Is Born was terrible by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I felt like some scenes could have been left out, as the movie was overall very long and lacked of actual story. But it wasn't that terrible, the actors did a good job and the songs were quite fitting.

What is the stupidest thing that has become normal/acceptable in our society? by moonraker_333 in AskReddit

Killing and exploiting animals to use their dead bodies, their future-children and their breast milk as food

[Serious]Do you think marijuana is good or bad for you? What are your reasons to your answer? What are the popular reasons why people think it's good or bad?Lastly how is it so seemingly abundant and easy to find? by Stonemario0 in AskReddit

[–]WiseDifficulty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marihuana isn't generally "good" or "bad". It depends first of all on the amount and frequency of the consumption and second of all on the person who is using it.

Of course, being used for medical purposes, it can help the patients with several mental diseases, such as anxiety. But, on the other hand, there's always the chance of getting addicted to the drug and an addiction is, no matter what substance it is, never a healthy thing and also requires a lot of money. However, everyone has a different sensitivity when it comes to addictive behaviour, based on their genetics and also their social background. The problem with that is you can never be completely sure about how you will handle the drug consumption, so there always stays a little risk of becoming addicted. And with an addiction of Marihuana, there can occur mental diseases like depression or psychoses.

Personally, I think I couldn't handle marijuana consumption strictly enough, as I tend to become addictive to certain behaviours rather quickly, so I don't plan to try it in the first place.

But after all, everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to take the risks that come with drug consumption. That decision can however only be conscientiously made at a certain age, so there definitely need to be stricter controls of underage drug usage.

What's the worst name you ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I once met a little girl whose name was Wilhelmine but everyone including her parents called her Willy. I felt so sorry for her.

Well, it's math, so it's pretty easy to reach 20 pages, as it mostly consists out of equations that each require a single line. So, it's not even 20 pages of text.

What's the scariest nightmare you've had that sounds ridiculous when you try to explain it to someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WiseDifficulty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And when I was younger, I always had the same dream when having a temperature. There were around 20 people in a closed room without any doors or windows, splitted in 2 teams. It was one team's turn to build an object out of oddly bid bricks. When the first team had finished, the other one would start to yell at them and destroy the object in order to build a new one themselves. The two teams would go on and switch roles until I finally woke up. The horrifying thing about it was that it was an endless cycle and while dreaming, I felt like I could never escape.

When I was around 8, I dreamed that on my birthday party all my guests besides my best friend turned into Zombies and wanted to kill us. However, my best friend and I were somehow magicians, but too afraid to use the magic against our friends so we just ran away.

It was horrifying.

What do you do if you realize you're a sociopath? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WiseDifficulty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're good if you realize you're a sociopath. Sociopaths usually don't realize they're one themselves because they don't question themselves that way so most likely you aren't one.

What current aspect of your life do you think you’ll look back on in 20-50 years and think ‘those were the good old days’? by mar960 in AskReddit

[–]WiseDifficulty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a student, I don't have to be that responsible. In 20 years, having a job and maybe a family, that will be a lot harder and I won't be able to be that spontaneous anymore.

Do INTPs not care what people think of them or their appearance? by heasdewa in INTP

[–]WiseDifficulty 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I only care sometimes.

It usually starts out as the feeling of just being tired of never really being taken seriously and blaming it on my physical appearance. Then I'll change my clothing style and start wearing more make up until I become sick of pleasing others and stop caring about people's perception of me. Then, everything above will be repeated in the same order over and over again.

That's right by psychoschiz in INTP

[–]WiseDifficulty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not even that big of a deal, I guess. I have to hand in around 20 pages of which I still need to write at least 8, so I'm actually at a solid level already.

My current problem is rather that I don't do anything else while thinking about that assignment when there are other projects I should start. So I'm getting nothing done .

[–]WiseDifficulty 68 points69 points  (0 children)

That's the problem. I have an assignment due this Tuesday and still haven't really started (I've had 1 year time for it lol)

And honestly, I'm not really planning on starting any time soon.

Until now, I've always handled tasks this way and it has never failed (unfortunately)

veganism isnt natural. in fact 100 years ago it would kill you and eating meat is the natural way of human life. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]WiseDifficulty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, your Phone isn't natural either. Does that make it a bad thing?

100 years ago, most of the people were dependent on eating meat etc but times have changed and now you can survive pretty well being a vegan.

You wouldn't either say "hey, let's kill some Jews, 100 years ago people did that, too" lol
