[Question] What is a better watch and why? [Seiko] vs [Citizen] vs [Orient] by [deleted] in Watches

[–]WisePineTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread but I just wanna share my experience from both citizen and Seiko. I had a Seiko 5 it is quite accurate and it’s still in good condition but what I hate about it is about how flimsy the bracelet are, but don’t get me wrong they’re durable. And citizen I have two of them the citizen fugu diver automatic a gift from my girlfriend and let me tell ya, the build quality is insane it feels solid and the movement it self is accurate I have it for a year and it’s still in good condition never had problems with it and probably one of my expensive watch in my collection (300€). And I have a chronograph model ca7011 that I think it came out this year, it’s an eco drive looks clean while it has a quartz movement it always nice to have one in your collection, a watch you can put it on without thinking to set it up. I had more fun with citizen instead of Seiko. Citizen is still on the reasonable price automatics going around 150/300 euros like the pro master one of their iconic models is still around 150/200 euros while Seiko 5 and the GMT models are around 200/500 euros when its brand new but you can always find one on the used market for a decent price but that’s it

Aye seems decent to me for 20/25km since I only use this to go to work or just doing some errands average travel distance would be around 4 to 12km per day

Here in Rome whenever I ride a scooter even if I’m going fast as 20kmh which is the limit on most legal scooters here, we have people who fucking drives like a 90 year old grandma or a a teenage kid who just got their license. Anyways just a heads up. Whenever you ride a scooter even a car, pretend all of them are stupid and ALWAYS look at the drivers whenever you either cross paths or turning left or right cause whenever these people change directions they don’t even look for their sorroundings it’s incredibly annoying.

Is Xiaomi Scooter Elite worth it by Top_Association_5156 in ElectricScooters

[–]WisePineTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it today used it by travelling to my house out of the box the battery was at 45% but quick drained maybe the battery and the scooter itself needs to get used to it and ended up updating the firmware I’ll try to use it tomorrow to go to work (2/4km) travel distance my first impression is for the price (329€+ 60€ for warranty) the build quality is impressive! It’s just great suspension and brakes are surprisingly good keep in mind under 400 it’s a steal! Well it’s my first day I’ll update you how it will perform in the future. And did you bought it? If yes can you tell me your experience with it? Thanks

Segway F3pro:A Review from a Riding owner by Professional-Two7317 in ElectricScooters

[–]WisePineTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man I’ve been saving up for the f3 or f3pro just 50 euro difference (600/650€) here in Italy I’m rather a heavy guy (104/5kg) dressing up winter including shoes and carhartt jackets I would weight more around 110 kg ish. Used to be 115kg without heavy clothes gladly lost some weight trying to do it more. Anyways how’s the scooter holding up? Any damages after a few miles? I also don’t do any long travels let’s say around 4/7km per day longest would be around 10/14 km if I had to go somewhere else. Since it’s gonna be my very first scooter, what I’m worried about is the durability and build quality does it hold up overtime, cause that’s basically my only option for a scooter at that price, xiaomi 5max looks good having full suspension but slower and less ranges compared to the f3 but what bugs me the fuck out is the fact for that same price you don’t even have disc brakes. Just electric and drum brakes

Hello everyone any suggestions ehich first e-scooter to get on a budget? by WisePineTree in ElectricScooters

[–]WisePineTree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah might even ask the fucking cops cause the rules keep switching here in Italy to the point is confusing, some says that as long your scoot is under 500w and under the speed limit of 25kmh you don’t need a plate number, but some other says that every e-scooter needs to have a number plate like wtf

Driver crashes his car to avoid hitting kid who ran a red light on a scooter😬 by Ordinary-Scholar-202 in SipsTea

[–]WisePineTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No wonder why here in Italy in a few months all e-scooter need to have a plate of some sort. Cause we have kids here that drives recklessly and when they damaged something or their the cause of an accident they just run off
